Testimonials from Villa Mimma's guests
Buon Giorno Claudia We four women who stayed at Villa Mimma from 25 - 27 May had a wonderful time. Even the wet weather which obscured most of the beautiful views, couldn't dampen our spirits. Your mama is a perfect host and making gnocchi with her and dining with the family was a lovely experience besides the tasty meal. Your papa plays a mean piano and we just loved the beautiful room which houses the piano with its beautiful frescos. Your fratello carried our heavy suitcases which we really appreciated. It was truly enjoyable and I am trying to convince my husband that it would be worthwhile if he would go there with me for a week or two. I have been to Ozzano twice before to see my mum's old house but it was really special to stay in the area, so close too, for the two nights. My cousin, Lilian, and I felt so at home being not far from where our mums used to play and go to church. I told your mum that I will write a letter in Italian which won't be too easy, but I'll make the effort in the not-too-distant future. It was fun communicating with your family with my limited Italian... however we got by okay. Thank you Ciao Julia Tentori (May 2008) | |
| Hi Claudia Just wanted to let you know that the pay-pal has been completed this morning and to say thank you again for the help in setting up the reservation. Your mum is such a wonderful lady. It was good for us to practise our Italian and she was so accommodating with the errors I'm sure we made. We were obviously quite busy and out a lot, but she always greeted us when we returned and asked about our day. She gave us a lovely tour of the downstairs on the morning before we left - wow - what a cellar -all the old artefacts and the Natale scenes -and the views from the terrace were incredible. Casale is beautiful. We'd not gone up the cobbled area before - reminds me of a mini Florence - I know we'll enjoy going up there for a wander from time to time, and the shops- well - what more do I need to say! Your mum also gave us lots of leaflets on places to go when we come back and we are very much looking forward to this. Best wishes Jane (March 2008) |

Hi Claudia, | |
"Dear Claudia, We really enjoyed our week at Villa Mimma. the weather was perfect and we appreciated the tranquility ofthe place. Judith and Bran joined us for a day and they are still there enjoying themselves. We went to Genova for a day and also to Acqui Therme but it was the lovely hill villages in the area we most appreciated. The star of our stay was undoubtedly your Mum who is a charming and generous person. Please let her know how she remains in out thoughts as part of the pleasure at staying in Treville. We hope to go again and will recommend it to our friends. Kind regards Bernard (June 2005)" | ![]() |
